LOTS OF NEWS!!!

I know that its been a long time since I have blogged but we have been so busy. Lets see since the last blog Maddie had her final dance show of the year. She did a great job and my mom and Courtney were able to come as well as Aunt Kelly and John. She was very excited to be able to perform on a big stage but we are glad that it is over for now anyways!

My parents came in town and brought Maddie's antique swing for Cash. He looks so cute in it but is a little small for it right now so we have to put blankets around him to keep him from slipping through the front. Cash is growing very quickly. He is already weighing 22 lbs and crawling all over the place. He loves to crawl!!!

Maddie is now officially a 2nd grader!!! I can hardly believe it. I started crying on the last day of school and Maddie was like "oh mom, it okay, I'm in 2nd grade" She was very happy and John and I took her out to eat to celebrate. We went to her favorite restaurant(JinBeh) where they cook at your table and Maddie got to get a Shirley Temple with extra cherries. The last day of school was an awards ceremony in her class and then water fights outside. Can you guess what award Maddie got... QUEEN OF QUESTIONS... Hard to imagine right???? She was so excited and then they went outside and got to shoot each other with water guns. Well she is at her dads for 2 weeks and we miss her like crazy. She is the only one that can get Cash to laugh out loud.

This past weekend was Chelsea's(our niece) graduation from Centennial High School. We through her a party and she was very happy to be moving on to college now. While having our party I went to put Cash to bed and he climbed to the top rail with his stomach almost hanging over. So needless to say it was time to move the mattress down some. He thought it was really funny but mom, dad, grandma and Aunt Kelly were a little worried. He is now safe in his crib. As you can see from the pictures I have included his 7 month picture with the bear. He is getting so big and today while shopping I looked at him laughing and a TOOTH has finally come through. He is so adorable. Have a great summer and I will continue blogging soon.

Okay, I had to post this. Maddie wanted so badly to take a bath with Cash. Once they were in the bath Maddie wanted to see if Cash liked playing with her barbies. I told John this is going to be one of those pics we show all his friends when he is older. Maddie thought it was so funny and they had a great time. The other pics were taken today because he loves Jigsaw so much, I just had to take these. Maddie and him are my pride and joy and dads too of course. I am very lucky to be able to stay home and play with him all day. We are both very blessed!!! Have a great day!!!!

Maddie's first grade class of goats

Hi everyone, Maddie had her first musical at school and this year it was a "Barn yard Moosical"! She was really excited but her class had to dress up as goats. So, we had to create a goat costume. I went and got Styrofoam for the horns, made felt ears and had to get her brown pants and a top. She loved it!!!! Maddie was dancing and singing and as you already know loves being on stage. She had a fantastic time with her friends.

Cash turned 6 months old on April 21 and I am just now getting around to sharing the pictures. He is incredibly cute and adorable and all I want to do is kiss him. He is the best baby and smiles and laughs pretty much all the time. I am sure that he will be handful when he is able to crawl and walk. He is sitting up on his own and is rocking back and forth trying his hardest to crawl. Maddie seems to be the only one that can get him to laugh out loud. He just smiles and John and I. Speaking of John, He is in heaven because Cash is saying "dada" all the time. I try and get him to say "mama" but he just says "dada" instead.

We are just busy busy getting ready for Maddie's dance recital and the beginning of summer so stayed tuned for more pictures of Maddie in her costume.

Sorry for this blog being so late. Cash had his baptism on April 11th. It was great day spending time with our family and friends. Cash looked so cute in his outfit my mom made and was such a great baby. John's sister Tracy and her family have moved back to Dallas and they were able to be there with us as well. My step brother Marcus and his daughter Lexi drove in from Oklahoma to see us and Julie and her husband Joshua came also. I had a great time seeing Courtney and Ella who is getting really big and walking everywhere. We were very thankful for everyone who joined us at our house for brunch and for celebrating with us.

HAPPY EASTER!!!! We hope everyone had a great Easter with your family. Cash had a great first Easter and we went to Mucka's house for lunch and spent time with aunt Kelly and Chelsea as well. John and I went fishing but did not catch anything. We really missed Maddie who was at her dads for Easter but will be back today and very excited to see the Easter gift her grandmother got her. Next week will be a big week for our family because Cash is getting baptised. Look for all the cute new pictures coming!!!!

Cash turns 5months old

I cant believe that Cash is 5 months old!!! He is loving his veggies and we just started peas. He made a really funny face the first time he tried them but after a few bites, he loved them. These pics are ones we took this morning by his teddy bear and with his cool John Deer boots his aunt Kelly bought him. Isnt he the cutest baby!!!!

So I just got around to creating a blog thanks to Courtney and Cash is now 5 months old. He is getting so big and such a happy baby. He loves to luagh and loves his big sister too. He is now starting to eat veggies and really enjoys them as you can see. We started off with butternut squash so that is the orange stuff all over his face. He is very photogenic so I had to buy the bunny ears(which dad did not care for) and take pictures. Enjoy!!!
